Rock climbing legend Paul Pritchard is touring Australia talking about his incredible journey in a series of speaking events called 'Beyond Doing It Scared'.

ROCK CLIMBING LEGEND Paul Pritchard is hitting the road next month to share his incredible story of climbing Tasmania's Totem Pole – 18 years after it almost killed him.

Paul's catastrophic accident on Tassie's famous Totem Pole – a gravity-defying 4m-wide pillar of dolerite that rises 60m from the sea – is portrayed in the award-winning documentary Doing it Scared which is currently doing the rounds at the Banff Film Festival.

In follow up, Paul is touring Australia on his speaking tour 'Beyond Doing It Scared'. You'll laugh and cry as he relives the tale of his accident that left him partially paralysed, and his inspiring ongoing journey of recovery.

“The accident taught me a lot about acceptance. Letting the future go without anticipation. With this acceptance comes the courage to navigate the necessary stumbling stones of life,” says Paul.

Outdoor is proud to be a sponsor of these events – with all ticket profits going towards Paul's upcoming 'Lowest to Highest Expedition', a world-first expedition comprising five people with significant disabilities riding human-powered tricycles from Australia's lowest-point, Kati Thanda-Lake Eyre, to the peak of Mt Kosciuszko.

Doors open 6.30pm. Presentation begins 7pm.
